Justice Involved Services

Our Program

Many individuals who come into contact with the justice system are struggling with untreated mental illness, substance use disorders, or both. Capstone’s Justice Involved Services program provides an alternative path — connecting people to the treatment and community support they need rather than cycling through the criminal justice system.

Diversion from Incarceration

Working in partnership with courts, law enforcement, and probation offices, we help identify individuals who would benefit from treatment-based alternatives to jail or prison. Our staff participate in diversion planning and serve as liaisons to the legal system.

Case Management

Dedicated case managers work with individuals to address the mental health, substance use, housing, and social factors that contribute to justice involvement. We coordinate services and help remove barriers to compliance with court requirements.

Mental Health & Substance Abuse Treatment

Participants receive access to the full range of Capstone’s mental health and substance abuse services, including therapy, psychiatric evaluation, and group counseling, tailored to their individual needs and court requirements.

Reintegration Support

For those transitioning out of incarceration, we provide support to reestablish community connections, meet ongoing legal requirements, and build a stable life in the community.
